A Stradivarius for the Trio Zadig
Trio Zadig is thrilled to share some exciting news: violinist Miclen LaiPang has been entrusted with the Antonio Stradivari "Charles Castleman, ex-Marquis de Champeaux" violin from 1707. This exceptional instrument, crafted during Stradivari's golden period, was generously gifted to the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel by Charles Castleman, Miclen’s former mentor.
On loan to Miclen for the next three years, this remarkable violin will later continue to inspire future generations of violinists at the Chapel.
The trio is now proud to feature two extraordinary instruments: Miclen’s Antonio Stradivari and Marc Girard-Garcia’s Andrea Guarneri cello. This unique pairing creates a rich and harmonious sound, elevating each performance and adding new dimensions to their music.
Trio Zadig looks forward to sharing the magic of these instruments in their upcoming concerts and recordings. Exciting musical adventures await!
